Technology and Math
for Struggling Learners




This week, you are going to explore several different technologies designed to assist struggling math learners.  During this class, you will visit numerous websites on the Internet.  If you are working on this class from your school, and cannot access several sites, it's probably due to the school's firewall.  In that case, you will have to find another location to complete this class. The inability to access a large amount of these websites will hinder your ability to complete your assignments.

The objectives of this week's class are:

  1. Learn how struggling learners can use technology to meet the NJCCC Standards.
  2. Explore low-tech and high-tech solutions for math.
  3. Explore and analyze a collection of web-based resources to support learning math.
  4. Develop a math lesson plan for struggling students using technology solutions.

    4.  SuperKids Math Worksheets, worth 15 points

    *  All assignments should be handed in when we meet again on November 5th.  Assignments turned in late will be marked down accordingly.
